“But all things should be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40 NRSV

It’s a bit crazy at our house right now. Our youngest granddaughter Marie-Hélène’s preschool class is quarantined through this Friday. She and Seth are at our house so that between Seth, Rod, and me, we can supervise her virtual school attendance while attempting to balance our own work obligations. Granddaughter Anne-Sophie and her papa are going about their regular work and school activities at home.

My very well thought out and orderly plans for this week are yielding to the needs of the time. This morning we were playing with some old plastic barnyard toys. I watched as she put the mommy pig with the baby big, the little horse with the big horse. Next, I was instructed to put tiny little pieces of playdough in an ice cube tray, organized by regular color patterns.

Amidst what seems like a topsy-turvy week, a little child is helping me to do all things decently and in order.

Thanks for the help! ~ Anne
