My cup is so full it spills over! ~ Psalm 23:5 CEB
Rod and I spent two days at Great Wolf Lodge with Anne-Sophie and Marie-Hélène in June. It was a noisy, crowded, exhausting, delightful time. One of the main features at Great Wolf Lodge is a climbing structure with lots of water features including water slides and a huge wooden bucket at the very top that has water running into it until it spills over, onto everyone standing below it.
The first time up to the top of the platform to use a water slide, we were stuck in line just under said bucket when it spilled over, completely drenching us. It was a cold, shocking, delightful surprise, accompanied by screams and belly laughs.
The next day, we were back at the water park, and for one scary moment I lost sight of Marie-Hélène, only to discover her sitting on the floor, directly under the bucket waiting for it to spill over. She was looking straight up at the bucket, waiting for the deluge. When it came, she was absolutely delighted, soaked, and incredibly proud of her timing and patience. And I got to witness the whole thing.
