This is not a story about the Disney Ride whose theme song became an ear worm as soon as I wrote the words, “It’s a Small World After All.” This is a story about the smoke from forest fires in Canada that have made portions of the east coast, reaching all the way down into Virginia, look like scenes from Beijing’s horrific air pollution. What happens in Canada, happens to us.
It makes me wonder about all the other things that seemingly occur in isolation impacts others. If smoke can spread that fast and far on the wind, if anger and fear can spread in the same way over the internet, what would happen if we spread good, love, light, truth?
God breathed into the humans the breath of life. Let’s share life with each breath. ~ Anne
